Cardinals Grapple with Seahawks at Lumen Field: A Week 7 Showdown

The Arizona Cardinals, with a record of 1-6, faced off against the Seattle Seahawks, who held a 4-2 record before the game. The clash at Lumen Field ended in a 20-10 victory for the home team.

In an intense matchup at Lumen Field, the Arizona Cardinals' efforts were not enough to secure a win against the Seattle Seahawks. The Cardinals' defense managed to sack the opposing quarterback twice and recorded three hits on him. They also forced one interception and recovered one fumble while successfully stopping one drive on third down. Despite these defensive efforts, which included holding their opponents to only five successful third-down conversions out of fifteen attempts, they could not capitalize on these opportunities.

The Cardinals' offense had moments of effectiveness but struggled overall to maintain momentum. They gained a total of 249 yards throughout the game with their rushing attack contributing significantly by amassing 127 yards over 25 attempts; this included an impressive longest run that resulted in a touchdown from 25 yards out. However, their passing game was less effective as they completed only twenty passes for just over four yards per attempt on average.

Special teams played its part as well; the Cardinals executed two touchbacks from three kickoffs and made one field goal from two attempts – hitting true from within forty-nine yards but missing another opportunity.

As for penalties, it was relatively disciplined play by both sides with seven infractions costing sixty yards for Arizona.

Looking ahead after this tough loss on foreign turf, fans can anticipate seeing how their team will bounce back when they host Baltimore Ravens at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. This upcoming contest is scheduled for October 29th at 4:25 PM local time and will be broadcasted live on CBS network channels where fans can tune in to support their team.
