Cardinals Show Resilience at U.S. Bank Stadium Against Vikings in Week 8 Clash

In a competitive Week 8 encounter at U.S. Bank Stadium, the Arizona Cardinals faced off against the Minnesota Vikings, with the home team emerging victorious with a score of 34-26. The Cardinals' record now stands at 4-13, while the Vikings have improved to 13-4.

The Arizona Cardinals displayed a determined effort on offense throughout the game. Their passing game was particularly effective, with their quarterback throwing for three touchdowns and completing 31 out of 44 attempts for an impressive completion percentage of roughly 70 percent and a total of 326 yards through the air. Despite being sacked four times, they managed to maintain an average pocket time of over two seconds per play.

On special teams, every kickoff by the Cardinals resulted in touchbacks, showcasing their kicker's ability to control field position effectively. The kicking unit also contributed six points through field goals with a perfect success rate; their longest successful attempt was from 44 yards out.

The defense applied pressure on Minnesota's offense as well, registering three sacks and forcing one fumble which they recovered themselves. They also stopped one fourth-down attempt by the Vikings and forced four instances where Minnesota had to punt after three plays.

However, penalties proved costly for Arizona as they conceded ten penalties totaling 67 yards which provided additional opportunities for Minnesota's offense. Turnovers were another area where improvement is needed; Arizona turned over possession three times during this matchup.

Despite these setbacks, there were bright spots in individual performances such as receiving efforts that included catching passes that resulted in first downs seventeen times and achieving an average gain per play of over five yards across all plays run by their offense.

Looking ahead to their next challenge, fans can catch The Arizona Cardinals back in action when they host the Seattle Seahawks at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on November 6th at around four o'clock local time (MST). This upcoming game will be broadcasted live on FOX network channels for supporters who wish to follow along from home or elsewhere.
