Cardinals Soar to Victory at Allegiant Stadium Over Raiders in Week 2 Showdown

The Arizona Cardinals displayed an impressive offensive performance on Sunday, accumulating a total of 413 yards. Quarterback play was pivotal as they completed 31 out of 49 passing attempts for 277 yards, including one touchdown pass. Despite being sacked once and throwing one interception, the quarterback managed to maintain an average pocket time of over two seconds per attempt.

The ground game was equally effective for the Cardinals as they rushed for a total of 143 yards on 28 attempts, averaging over five yards per carry and scoring two touchdowns. Their longest run stretched for an impressive 30 yards. The rushing attack contributed significantly to their first down tally which stood at eleven by game's end.

Arizona's defense also made its presence felt by recording one sack and forcing two fumbles—one resulting in a touchdown return spanning across fifty-nine yards. They managed to hold their opponents to just twenty-three points while applying pressure with seven quarterback hits and four defended passes.

Special teams played their part too; all three kickoffs resulted in touchbacks, limiting return opportunities for the opposition. Punting was consistent with three attempts averaging around forty-five yards each and placing one inside the twenty-yard line.

Penalties were an area that could see improvement as twelve infractions cost them a substantial hundred and twenty penalty-yards throughout the game. However, this did not deter them from securing possession time dominance with over thirty-six minutes on offense compared to their opponent's time on field.

Looking ahead, fans can anticipate another exciting matchup as the Arizona Cardinals will host the Los Angeles Rams at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on September 25th at 8:25 PM local time. This upcoming contest will be broadcasted live on FOX network where supporters can tune in to follow all action from home or wherever they may be.
