Mercedes-Benz Stadium to See Atlanta Falcons Face Off Against Pittsburgh Steelers

As the Atlanta Falcons prepare to welcome the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, fans are bracing for what promises to be a riveting encounter. The Falcons' recent form has been a mixed bag, with their last three games painting a picture of inconsistency that they'll need to address before facing the Steelers.

In their previous game on November 27 against the Washington Commanders, the Falcons fell short with a score of 13-19. Despite putting up 332 total yards and maintaining possession for nearly 27 minutes, they were unable to capitalize on key moments. The rushing attack was solid, amassing 167 yards with an average of nearly 6 yards per carry. However, it was not enough as they converted only 40 percent of their third downs and half of their red zone attempts.

The game before that saw better fortunes for Atlanta when they hosted Chicago Bears at home on November 20 and secured a narrow victory with a scoreline of 27-24. Their defense stepped up significantly in this matchup, sacking the quarterback four times and forcing turnovers that proved crucial in this tight contest. They also showed efficiency in converting two out of three red zone opportunities into touchdowns.

However, looking further back at the November 11 game against Carolina Panthers reveals some concerns as they lost by ten points (15-25). The offense struggled under pressure from Carolina's defense which resulted in five sacks and limited them to just over four yards per play on average.

The upcoming match against Pittsburgh presents an opportunity for redemption for Atlanta. To emerge victorious, it is imperative that they leverage their home advantage and replicate the defensive intensity shown against Chicago while tightening up their offensive execution seen lacking against Washington and Carolina.

The Steelers come into this game with challenges of their own but have shown resilience throughout this season. It will be essential for Atlanta's defense to disrupt Pittsburgh's rhythm early on if they wish to control the pace of play.

Looking ahead at December 4th’s showdown scheduled at Mercedes-Benz Stadium kicking off at noon local time (6 PM GMT), fans can catch all action live on CBS where both teams will strive hard towards adding another win under their belt amidst an intense NFL season.
