On special teams, kicker Riley Patterson had a mixed day but managed to convert one field goal from within 39 yards out of his two attempts.


Defensive Efforts and Challenges


Defensively, Clark Phillips III stood out by forcing one fumble and defending two passes effectively against Carolina's offense. Dee Alford led in tackles with five solo efforts and assisted on two more occasions while also defending one pass successfully.

However, despite these individual performances, Atlanta struggled to contain Carolina's scoring drives throughout the game. The defense did not record any sacks or interceptions but managed three forced three-and-outs indicating moments where they successfully halted Carolina's momentum.
