As the Baltimore Ravens prepare to face off against the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The Ravens' recent performances suggest that they are in a prime position to dominate this upcoming game.

Looking back at their preseason game on August 27th against the Washington Commanders, the Ravens secured a narrow victory with a score of 17-15. Despite using two timeouts and one challenge, they managed to hold onto one remaining timeout and challenge each. The defense was particularly impressive, racking up five sacks and forcing one fumble which they recovered themselves. Offensively, the passing game was strong with a completion percentage of nearly 74 percent for 281 yards and one touchdown without conceding any interceptions.

The August 22nd encounter with the Arizona Cardinals further highlighted BAL's prowess as they emerged victorious with a score of 24-17. Their defense recorded three sacks and two interceptions while defending three passes effectively. On offense, despite twelve penalties costing them 116 yards, their quarterback maintained an impressive passer rating of over 122 and threw for three touchdowns.

In their first preseason week on August 11th versus the Tennessee Titans, BAL showcased both offensive consistency and defensive strength in their home victory of 23-10. They achieved two interceptions without allowing any from their side while also recording two sacks.

The data indicates that BAL's defense has been consistently aggressive throughout these games, applying pressure through sacks and turnovers which could be pivotal against NYJ's offense. Moreover, BAL's quarterback has shown high efficiency in passing games which could exploit NYJ’s secondary if it doesn't step up its game.

However, it would be remiss not to acknowledge that every game is unique and past performance is not always indicative of future results—especially when facing an opponent like NYJ who will have home-field advantage this time around.

Ravens fans should feel confident yet cautious; football is unpredictable by nature but based on these statistics alone there’s enough evidence to believe that BAL can fly high in East Rutherford come September 11th at noon local time (5:00 PM GMT). Fans eager to catch every play can tune into CBS for live coverage from MetLife Stadium where all will unfold.
