First Quarter

The game commenced with both teams displaying strong defensive strategies. The Ravens' defense was led by Tavius Robinson, who recorded a sack and contributed significantly to their early efforts. However, it was the Chiefs who managed to break through first, capitalizing on their offensive momentum.

Second Quarter

In this period, Lamar Jackson showcased his dual-threat capability for the Flock. He completed 14 out of 20 passes for 147 yards and rushed for an additional 48 yards. Despite his efforts, including a touchdown pass to Justice Hill that covered an impressive distance of 11 yards, Jackson's performance was marred by one interception and one lost fumble.

Third Quarter

Justice Hill emerged as a standout performer for Baltimore with an electrifying rushing touchdown from 71 yards out. His contribution kept the Ravens competitive in terms of scoring opportunities. Meanwhile, Zay Flowers demonstrated his receiving prowess by securing seven receptions totaling 74 yards.

Fourth Quarter

As time wound down in Kansas City’s favor, Tyler Loop maintained perfect accuracy on field goals for Baltimore but it wasn't enough to close the gap created by Patrick Mahomes’ orchestrated drives that consistently found weaknesses in Baltimore’s defense.

The game concluded with post-game thoughts from Baltimore Ravens players reflecting on missed opportunities and areas needing improvement before their next matchup against Houston Texans at M&T Bank Stadium scheduled for October 5th at 1:00 PM EDT on CBS.
