First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both defenses holding strong, with neither team able to break through for an early lead. The Bills' quarterback Josh Allen struggled under pressure, facing five sacks throughout the game and managing only short gains on his passing attempts.

Second Quarter

As the second quarter unfolded, Josh Allen showcased his dual-threat capability by rushing for two touchdowns. His longest run spanned 17 yards, contributing significantly to his total of 27 rushing yards on seven attempts. Despite these efforts, Allen's passing game was stifled by Philadelphia's defense.

Third Quarter

In the third quarter, Brandin Cooks became a key target for Allen as he racked up 101 receiving yards on four receptions. His longest catch stretched for an impressive 50 yards but failed to result in any touchdowns due to tight coverage from the Eagles' secondary.

Fourth Quarter

The final period saw both teams battling fiercely for control. The Bills' defense forced five three-and-outs but couldn't capitalize offensively due to penalties and missed opportunities in critical moments. Matt Milano led Buffalo’s defensive efforts with seven combined tackles and half a sack.

Despite their valiant efforts and strategic plays like Khalil Shakir’s punt returns totaling 50 yards, including one return that went for 28 yards—the longest of any player during this matchup—the Bills fell short by just one point as time expired.
