The Carolina Panthers' record now stands at 0-2 after a challenging game against the New England Patriots, which ended with a score of 20-10 in favor of the home team. The Panthers struggled to find their rhythm throughout the match, managing only 10 points against the Patriots' more robust defense.

At Gillette Stadium, with an attendance of 65,878 fans, the Carolina Panthers faced a tough opponent in the New England Patriots. The Panthers' offense had difficulty gaining ground as they accumulated just 192 total yards compared to their opponents. Despite completing 17 passes for a total of 165 yards and achieving an average gain of 3.3 yards per play, they were unable to convert these efforts into touchdowns.

The defensive unit for Carolina managed to sack the opposing quarterback twice and recorded one interception that was returned for a touchdown covering half a century on the field. This was one bright spot in an otherwise difficult game for them. They also defended five passes effectively during play but could not contain the Patriots' offense from scoring twice as many points.

Carolina's special teams had some success; their punting unit worked hard with seven attempts totaling 319 yards and placing one inside the opponent's twenty-yard line. Their field goal kicker successfully made his single attempt from within twenty-nine yards out.

Penalties were another area where Carolina found themselves struggling; they incurred nine penalties costing them sixty-two yards throughout the game. Additionally, turnovers proved costly for them as they lost two fumbles and threw two interceptions.

Looking ahead, fans can mark their calendars for when The Carolina Panthers will host Buffalo Bills at Bank of America Stadium on August 26th at around seven o'clock in Charlotte under what promises to be clear skies according to local forecasts. This preseason encounter will not be broadcasted on any major networks but fans can stay updated through local sports coverage channels and online platforms dedicated to providing live updates.
