In an intense matchup at Lumen Field, the Carolina Panthers demonstrated resilience but ultimately could not secure their first win of the season against the Seattle Seahawks. The Panthers' offense was able to accumulate a total of 378 yards with an average gain of five yards per play. The passing game contributed significantly to this yardage, as quarterback play resulted in 361 passing yards and two touchdowns. Notably, one touchdown pass was an impressive longest completion for 47 yards.

The rushing attack added another dimension to the Panther's offense but was limited to just 44 yards on fourteen attempts. However, they did manage one rushing touchdown and three first downs from their ground game efforts. The team's red zone efficiency stood out as they capitalized on both opportunities they had within their opponent's twenty-yard line.

Penalties were a concern for the Panthers; they incurred thirteen penalties costing them eighty-two yards throughout the game. On special teams, field goal kicking was decent with two successful attempts out of three for sixty-seven percent success rate; including one from beyond forty-nine yards.

Defensively, Carolina managed two sacks and eight quarterback hits while also forcing two three-and-outs during the contest. They also recorded one interception and defended three passes overall which showcased some defensive strengths despite allowing thirty-seven points.

As fans look ahead after this tough loss on Sunday night football at Lumen Field where kickoff occurred at around eight o'clock PM local time (8:05 PM), attention turns toward future matchups where improvements can be made.

Looking forward to their next challenge, the Carolina Panthers will host the Minnesota Vikings at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte on October 1st. This upcoming game is scheduled for kick-off around five o'clock PM local time (5:00 PM) and will be broadcasted by FOX network where fans can tune in for live coverage.
