The Panthers demonstrated a strong offensive performance with a total of 400 yards. The passing game was particularly effective, with the quarterback throwing for 341 yards and three touchdowns, achieving an impressive passer rating of over 108. Despite two sacks and one interception, the Panthers maintained an average of over eight yards per pass attempt.

Carolina's defense applied pressure throughout the game, recording three sacks and forcing one fumble which they recovered. They also managed to stop two drives on third down. However, they were unable to secure any interceptions during the match.

Special teams played their part as well; Carolina executed all their kicks flawlessly with a field goal from 49 yards out and successful extra points after each touchdown. Their punting unit averaged over 46 net yards per punt while pinning three inside the Buccaneers' 20-yard line.

Penalties were an issue for both teams; however, Carolina incurred eight penalties costing them a total of 58 yards which may have impacted their ability to maintain drives and control possession time.

On offense for Tampa Bay, their efforts yielded four more points than Carolina's despite having fewer total offensive plays. The Buccaneers capitalized on turnovers by scoring after each of Carolina's lost fumbles.

Looking ahead for fans of the Panthers: The next challenge will be against the New Orleans Saints at Caesars Superdome on January 8th at around noon local time (6 PM UTC). This upcoming encounter can be watched live on FOX network where fans will hope to see Carolina bounce back from this narrow defeat.
