Linebacker Tremaine Edmunds and punter Tory Taylor stood out with their contributions on the field. Edmunds was instrumental in halting advances with eight tackles and one sack, contributing to the team's total of three sacks against the Texans. On special teams, Taylor's precision punting placed two kicks inside the 20-yard line, totaling 284 yards over six attempts which played a critical role in field positioning.


Offensive Highlights


On offense, quarterback Caleb Williams faced pressure from Houston's defense but managed to complete 23 out of 37 attempts for 174 yards. Despite being sacked seven times and throwing two interceptions, Williams showed resilience under pressure. Khalil Herbert found some success on ground as he punched in a touchdown from two yards out among his limited carries.
