Cincinnati Bengals Fall to Pittsburgh Steelers at Paycor Stadium in Week 12

The Bengals' offense struggled to find its rhythm throughout the game. Despite completing an impressive 73 percent of their passes for a total of 227 yards and securing one touchdown pass that went for 11 yards, they were unable to consistently convert on third down with only a 20 percent success rate. The passing game saw nineteen completions and nine first downs but was hindered by four sacks totaling a loss of thirty yards. The longest completion was an impressive gain of thirty-nine yards.

On the ground, Cincinnati's rushing attack was stifled by Pittsburgh's defense, managing only twenty-five total rushing yards across eleven attempts. The longest run spanned six yards and no touchdowns were recorded from running plays.

Special teams contributed solidly with kick returns averaging thirty-three yards over two attempts and achieving one field goal from forty-seven yards out – maintaining a perfect kicking percentage for field goals during this matchup.

Defensively, Cincinnati showed tenacity by recording two sacks and forcing five tackles for loss while also recovering one fumble which resulted in twenty-eight return yards. However, they missed seven tackles which could have been crucial stops against their opponents.

The Steelers capitalized on their opportunities better than the Bengals did. They utilized their timeouts effectively and managed to keep one remaining timeout in reserve by the end of playtime while Cincinnati exhausted all three timeouts available to them.

Looking ahead after this tough home defeat, fans can catch the next game featuring Cincinnati as they travel to face off against Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium on December 5th at 8:15 PM Eastern Time. This upcoming encounter will be broadcasted live on ABC/ESPN networks where supporters can tune in to follow their team’s performance as they aim to bounce back from this setback.
