In Arlington's AT&T Stadium, the Cincinnati Bengals displayed a resilient performance despite falling short against the Dallas Cowboys. The Bengals' offense managed to accumulate 254 total yards with an average gain of about four yards per play. The passing game saw quarterback completions at an impressive rate of approximately 67 percent for 199 yards and one touchdown. However, they were also subjected to six sacks resulting in a loss of yardage that impacted their net passing total.

The rushing attack contributed with 89 yards on the ground over 25 attempts, averaging around four yards per carry. Although no touchdowns were recorded from rushing plays, three first downs were achieved through this effort. In terms of special teams play, field goal kicking was flawless as all three attempts sailed through the uprights including one from beyond fifty yards.

Defensively, the Bengals exerted pressure on their opponents by recording five quarterback hits and hurrying them four times which resulted in one sack for five lost yards for the Cowboys. They also forced two turnovers: recovering one fumble while not giving up any themselves and defending three passes effectively throughout the game.

Penalties seemed to be an area under control as only seven infractions occurred costing them thirty-five penalty yards which did not significantly hamper their gameplay.

Looking ahead to future matchups after this narrow defeat, fans can find solace in some solid individual performances and team statistics that suggest competitive games lie ahead for Cincinnati.

The next challenge for Cincinnati will be against New York Jets at MetLife Stadium on September twenty-fifth at five o'clock PM Eastern Time Zone. Fans eager to follow their team can tune into CBS network where this upcoming encounter will be broadcasted live from East Rutherford.
