Bengals Dismantle Browns in Commanding Victory at Paycor Stadium

The Cincinnati Bengals improved their season record to 7-8 with a convincing 24-6 win over the Cleveland Browns, who fell to 3-12. The game, played in front of a packed crowd at Paycor Stadium, showcased the Bengals' defensive and offensive capabilities as they dominated their AFC North rivals.

Dominant Defense Sets the Tone

The Bengals' defense was relentless, sacking the Browns' quarterback five times for a loss of 32 yards and recording two interceptions. Defensive tackle Kris Jenkins Jr. led the charge with two sacks and two tackles for loss, showcasing his ability to disrupt the backfield. Joseph Ossai and Trey Hendrickson also contributed with one sack each, adding pressure that kept the Browns' offense off balance throughout the game.

Safety Vonn Bell made his presence felt by forcing a fumble and recovering it, halting a promising drive by the Browns and shifting momentum back to Cincinnati. The defensive unit's performance was further highlighted by Geno Stone's interception coupled with two passes defended, underscoring a comprehensive effort that limited Cleveland to just six points.

Offensive Firepower

On offense, quarterback Joe Burrow delivered an efficient performance by throwing for 252 yards on 23 completions out of 30 attempts (77 percent completion rate), including three touchdowns without an interception. His connection with wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase was particularly effective; Chase racked up 97 receiving yards on six receptions and found the end zone once.

Rookie running back Chase Brown provided balance to the Bengals' attack with 91 rushing yards on 18 carries. His efforts helped control possession time and keep Cleveland's defense guessing between pass and run plays.

Special Teams Contributions

Cade York contributed to scoring with a successful field goal from an impressive distance of 59 yards out of two attempts (50 percent success rate), adding another dimension to Cincinnati's multifaceted victory.

As fans look ahead, they can mark their calendars for when Cincinnati will host Denver Broncos at Paycor Stadium on December 28th at 4:30 PM EDT. This matchup promises more exciting action as fans can catch it live on NFL Network.
