Cowboys Corral Colts at AT&T Stadium in Dominant Display

From the opening whistle, the Dallas Cowboys took control of the game with an impressive offensive and defensive performance. The offense amassed a total of 385 yards, with their ground game proving particularly effective as they racked up 220 rushing yards on 34 attempts. This relentless rushing attack was highlighted by a longest run stretching to 30 yards and resulted in four touchdowns. The passing game also contributed significantly to their scoring efforts with three touchdowns through aerial routes.


The defense was equally imposing, recording three sacks for a loss of 30 yards and six tackles for loss totaling another 38 yards lost by their opponents. They were relentless throughout the match, forcing two fumbles and recovering both – one being returned for an impressive touchdown adding to their tally. Additionally, they intercepted Indianapolis quarterbacks three times while defending seven passes overall.


Special teams played its part too; although field goals did not factor into this matchup for Dallas as none were attempted or made, kickoffs covered an expansive distance totaling 611 yards over nine instances which included eight reaching into endzone territory.


Dallas' efficiency was evident within critical areas such as red zone where they had a success rate of hundred percent over four attempts and third down conversions where they succeeded seven out of thirteen times. Their fourth down attempt also resulted in success maintaining their hundred percent conversion rate there.
