Cowboys Corral Giants at AT&T Stadium in Week 12 Showdown

In a competitive Week 12 National Football League matchup, the Dallas Cowboys secured a victory over the New York Giants with a final score of 28-20. The Cowboys improved their season record to 12-5, while the Giants now stand at 9-7 with one draw. A crowd of 93,568 spectators witnessed the action-packed game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The Dallas Cowboys demonstrated offensive efficiency throughout the game, converting all four red zone opportunities into touchdowns and maintaining possession for over half an hour. Their rushing attack was particularly effective, amassing 169 yards on the ground across 39 attempts and scoring two touchdowns. The longest rush was a notable 22-yard dash that contributed to their average of over four yards per carry.

Dallas's passing game also made significant contributions to their victory. The quarterback completed an impressive 70 percent of his passes for two touchdowns and racked up a total of 261 passing yards. Despite throwing two interceptions, he managed to maintain an overall passer rating above ninety-one.

Defensively, the Cowboys were relentless in pressuring the Giants' offense. They recorded three sacks and seven quarterback hits while forcing one fumble which they recovered themselves. Additionally, they successfully stopped two fourth-down attempts by New York and forced three-and-outs twice during critical moments in the game.

Special teams played their part as well; all five kickoffs by Dallas resulted in touchbacks, limiting any potential return threat from New York's special teams unit.

On penalties front though not ideal but still manageable; despite committing thirteen penalties costing them eighty-six yards they managed to keep control over match flow without letting it affect outcome significantly.

Looking ahead after this hard-fought battle against New York Giants next challenge awaits Dallas Cowboys as they prepare to host Indianapolis Colts at AT&T Stadium on December fifth at eight-twenty PM Eastern Time which will be broadcasted live on NBC for fans eager to catch every play from what promises be another exciting NFL encounter.
