Cowboys Dominate Commanders at AT&T Stadium in Week 12 Showdown
The Dallas Cowboys delivered a commanding performance against the Washington Commanders, with an 8-3 record to the Commanders' 4-8. The final score read a dominant 45-10 in favor of the home team at AT&T Stadium.
The Cowboys' offense was on fire, racking up a total of 431 yards. Quarterback play was exceptional, as evidenced by a passer rating of 142.1 and four touchdown passes completed out of an attempted three red zone passes. The passing game accounted for most of the yardage with 331 yards through the air and an impressive completion percentage of nearly 69 percent.
On the ground, Dallas managed to gain an average of over five yards per carry, totaling 100 rushing yards for the day. They were also successful in their lone red zone rushing attempt which resulted in one touchdown.
Special teams contributed significantly to this victory as well; all eight kickoffs by Dallas resulted in touchbacks, and their field goal unit was perfect on the day with a long field goal made from beyond fifty yards.
Defensively, The Cowboys were relentless. They sacked Washington's quarterback four times for a loss of thirty-two yards and recorded eight quarterback hits overall. Their defensive efforts led to one interception that was returned sixty-three yards for another touchdown.
Penalties could have been problematic as Dallas incurred seven penalties costing them forty-eight yards but it did little to slow down their momentum or impact on the game's outcome.
As fans look ahead, they can mark their calendars for December first when The Cowboys will host Seattle Seahawks at AT&T Stadium under Arlington's bright lights at seven fifteen PM local time. Fans unable to attend can catch all action live on Amazon Prime Video.
