Key Performances


The Cowboys' quarterback Cooper Rush delivered an impressive performance with a completion rate of 75 percent for a total of 247 yards and two touchdowns. His precision passing played a pivotal role in Dallas's offensive strategy. Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was Rush's top target, securing ten receptions for 67 yards and contributing significantly to moving the chains throughout the game.


On defense, Micah Parsons stood out with two sacks and four tackles that included two tackles for loss (TFL), showcasing his relentless pursuit and ability to disrupt Washington's offense. The defensive unit as a whole recorded four sacks and forced three fumbles while recovering one. Cornerback Jourdan Lewis contributed with three tackles and one forced fumble, further highlighting Dallas's defensive prowess.

Special teams also made notable contributions; kicker Brandon Aubrey successfully converted two field goals with his longest being from 48 yards out. Additionally, KaVontae Turpin electrified with kick returns totaling an impressive 179 yards including one that he took back for a touchdown covering 99 yards.
