Empower Field at Mile High Witnesses Narrow Victory for Denver Broncos Over San Francisco 49ers

In a closely contested battle at Empower Field at Mile High, the Denver Broncos edged out the San Francisco 49ers with a final score of 11-10. The home team's season record now stands at 5-12, while the visiting team holds a more favorable tally of 13-4. Despite the challenging season, the Broncos managed to secure victory in front of an attendance of 77,021 spectators.

The Denver Broncos' defense was particularly notable during this encounter. They amassed four sacks and forced five tackles for loss, contributing to their overall defensive effort that included six quarterback hits and one safety. The defense also made an impact with one interception and two fumble recoveries while defending against passes six times throughout the game.

On special teams, punting played a significant role for the Broncos as they executed ten attempts totaling 476 yards with an average hang time close to five seconds per punt. Six punts landed inside the opposing team's 20-yard line, which helped in maintaining field position advantage.

Offensively, Denver's ground game accounted for their lone touchdown and churned out over half a hundred yards after contact from their total rushing yardage of 101 on thirty-three attempts. Their passing attack added another dimension with twenty completions from thirty-three attempts amassing over one hundred eighty yards through air.

The kicking game saw mixed results; although they succeeded in making one field goal from beyond fifty yards out of two attempts taken from that distance.

The San Francisco 49ers displayed resilience throughout but ultimately fell short by just one point. Their defense recorded four sacks and hurried the quarterback five times but could not produce turnovers like their counterparts did.

As fans look ahead, they can mark their calendars for when the Denver Broncos will face off against Las Vegas Raiders at Allegiant Stadium on October second at eight twenty-five PM Eastern Time. This upcoming contest will be broadcasted on CBS where fans can tune in to follow all live-action as it unfolds on turf thousands are expected to attend.
