Denver Broncos Dominate Arizona Cardinals with a 38-12 Victory at Empower Field

In a dominant display at Empower Field at Mile High, the Denver Broncos clinched a decisive 38-12 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. This win marks an auspicious beginning to their season, highlighting their prowess on both offense and defense from the get-go.

The Broncos' offensive unit was unstoppable, racking up an impressive 377 yards. Quarterback Zach Wilson delivered a standout performance, throwing for 251 yards with a completion rate of 64 percent and adding two touchdowns to his tally. His highlight reel included a remarkable 46-yard touchdown pass that set the stadium alight. Jarrett Stidham contributed as well, throwing for an additional 28 yards.


Denver's running game was robust, with Tyler Badie leading the charge with 32 rushing yards out of the team's collective total of 119. Audric Estime also made his presence felt by scoring a touchdown on one of his carries, complementing Wilson’s own scoring run.

The receivers were instrumental in this victory. Brandon Johnson emerged as a key player with two receptions totaling 83 yards and one touchdown, featuring that spectacular long catch from Wilson which culminated in six points. Nate Adkins left his mark too by securing one for a touchdown among his two receptions which added up to twenty yards.


On defense, Denver was just as formidable; they notched three sacks and forced three turnovers while keeping their slate clean of any turnovers against them. Justin Strnad stood out with notable plays including one sack and forcing one fumble, underscoring Denver’s defensive dominance throughout the match.


Special teams also executed flawlessly; Wil Lutz nailed all five extra-point attempts and scored another three points through his sole field goal attempt from thirty yards away.


This all-around team performance against the Arizona Cardinals not only underscores the Denver Broncos' comprehensive strength but also raises expectations for their future outings as they aim to capitalize on this strong season opener.
