On defense, Denver demonstrated why they are considered one of the formidable units in the league. They recorded three sacks and ten quarterback hits throughout the game while limiting their opponents' scoring opportunities significantly.

Cody Barton made notable contributions with five tackles and one interception that he returned for fifty-six yards; this play exemplified Denver's defensive resilience and strategic execution on field turnovers were crucial in this matchup as Ja'Quan McMillian's forty-four-yard interception return for a touchdown highlighted Denver's ability to capitalize on Cleveland’s mistakes effectively.


Special Teams Excellence
