In front of an energetic crowd of 61,447 fans at Ford Field, the Detroit Lions displayed a robust offensive performance. The home team amassed a total of 393 yards with an average gain per play standing at an impressive 6.9 yards. The passing game was particularly effective; quarterback play resulted in completions on nearly 73 percent of passes for a total of 321 yards and one touchdown pass that covered seven yards.

The rushing attack contributed significantly to the offense as well. The Lions carried the ball for a total of 82 yards across nineteen attempts and crossed into the end zone twice on runs that each spanned seven yards. Their red zone efficiency was notable, converting three out of four opportunities into scores.

Special teams also played their part; field goal kickers were perfect on the day making both attempted field goals with the longest being from forty-two yards out. Additionally, kickoffs resulted in touchbacks four times out five attempts.

Defensively, while there were bright spots such as two sacks totaling thirteen lost yardage for Miami and forcing one fumble which they recovered themselves for two additional yards gained by defense; however it wasn't enough to stifle Miami's offense completely.

On penalties front, discipline was maintained relatively well by Detroit who incurred only six penalties costing them thirty penalty-yards throughout the game duration which lasted approximately twenty-six minutes when they had possession.

As fans look ahead to future matchups after this close encounter against Miami Dolphins at Ford Field where both teams showcased their ability to put points on board while maintaining similar records before heading into this week's battle; attention now turns towards next challenge facing Detroit Lions.

Detroit will be hosting Green Bay Packers at Ford Field once again where fans can catch all action live on FOX network scheduled for November sixth starting from one o'clock PM Eastern Time Zone onwards as these division rivals clash in what promises to be another exciting NFL showdown.
