The Green Bay Packers faced a challenging game in Week 9, ending with a record of 6-3 after a loss to the Detroit Lions, who improved their standing to 7-1 with a final score of 24-14. The game, held at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, saw an attendance of 78,330 fans eager to witness this intense matchup.

Packers' Offensive Efforts

The Packers' offense had moments of brilliance but struggled to consistently break through the Lions' defense. Quarterback Jordan Love completed 23 out of his 39 attempts for a total of 273 yards. Despite his efforts and maintaining a completion percentage close to 59 percent, Love threw one interception and was unable to secure any touchdowns through the air. His longest pass was an impressive 41-yard throw, contributing significantly to the team's total yardage.

On the ground, running back Josh Jacobs led with an impressive performance totaling 95 yards over just thirteen carries. His longest run stretched for an astonishingly long distance but ultimately fell short without finding the end zone. Emanuel Wilson found more success in terms of scoring with one rushing touchdown on four attempts totaling twenty-eight yards.

Defensive Standouts and Special Teams

Defensively, linebacker Quay Walker stood out with twelve combined tackles (seven solo), showcasing his ability as a key player within the Packers' defensive lineup. Despite these individual efforts including three forced three-and-outs by the defense as well as achieving one sack split between Rashan Gary and Arron Mosby for eight lost yards against Detroit's offense - it wasn't enough to stifle their opponents effectively throughout all four quarters.

Special teams saw kicker Brandon McManus converting two out of three field goal attempts providing crucial points for Green Bay; however, these were not sufficient in overcoming Detroit’s lead.
