The Texans' defense was relentless throughout the game, sacking the opposing quarterback three times for a loss of 18 yards and hurrying him on three occasions. The defensive unit also recorded seven quarterback hits and managed to intercept one pass while defending six others. Despite these efforts, the team's offense struggled to find its rhythm. The passing game saw the quarterback complete only half of his attempts for 177 yards and no touchdowns. The offensive line allowed three sacks for a loss of 23 yards.

On the ground, the Texans were more effective, rushing for 80 yards on 18 attempts which averages out to about four yards per carry. However, they were unable to convert any red zone opportunities into touchdowns and finished with zero points from rushing plays.

Special teams contributed positively as well; all three field goal attempts were successful including two from beyond forty-nine yards out. Punting was also strong with an average net yardage of nearly forty-two per punt.

Penalties proved costly for Houston as they accumulated eight infractions costing them ninety-four penalty yards which hindered their progress on multiple drives.

The Broncos capitalized on their home-field advantage by maintaining possession longer than their opponents and making crucial plays when needed most. Their defense held strong against third-down conversions allowing only two successes out of thirteen attempts by Houston.

As fans look ahead, they can mark their calendars for September twenty-fifth when the Houston Texans will take on Chicago Bears at Soldier Field in Chicago broadcasted live on CBS at noon local time (5 PM UTC). This matchup promises another opportunity for Houston to demonstrate their capabilities against another NFL contender in front of an eager audience nationwide.
