NRG Stadium Showdown: Houston Texans Edge Out Arizona Cardinals

The Houston Texans demonstrated resilience and strategic play on their home turf. The team's offense amassed a total of 419 yards, with the passing game contributing significantly to this tally. Quarterback performance was notable as they completed 28 out of 38 attempted passes for an impressive completion percentage of roughly 74 percent, totaling 338 yards through the air. Two touchdown passes were recorded, including one that resulted in the longest scoring play from scrimmage at 40 yards.

Houston's ground game also made substantial contributions with an average of about four yards per carry across twenty-five attempts, culminating in one rushing touchdown and four first downs. The longest run broke for twenty-one yards and showcased the offensive line's ability to create space.

Defensively, the Texans were formidable; they sacked Arizona quarterbacks three times for eighteen lost yards and applied consistent pressure resulting in six quarterback hits. The defense also managed seven passes defended and forced three fourth down stops while only allowing one successful third-down conversion out of thirteen attempts by their opponents.

Special teams had mixed results; while all kickoffs resulted in touchbacks except one, field goal execution was less successful with no points scored from these opportunities due to a missed attempt from within forty-nine yards range.

For fans looking ahead, the Houston Texans will host their next game against Jacksonville Jaguars at NRG Stadium on November 26th at noon local time (1 PM Eastern Time). This match-up can be caught live on CBS for those eager to see how the team performs following this latest victory.
