In front of a packed crowd of 71,324 fans at NRG Stadium with its retractable dome and artificial surface, the Texans displayed an impressive offensive performance. The quarterback was particularly effective through the air with a completion percentage of roughly 72 percent for 304 yards and two touchdowns. He managed to avoid any interceptions while being sacked four times for a loss of 43 yards. His passer rating for this game was an admirable 116.

The receiving corps played their part well too; they caught passes totaling up to 304 yards including two touchdowns. The longest reception went for an impressive distance of 34 yards and contributed significantly to their average gain per play which stood at about six yards.

On the ground, the Texans were not as dominant but still managed to rush for a total of 91 yards across eighteen attempts which included one touchdown. Their longest run stretched out to sixteen yards and they averaged over five yards per carry.

Special teams had mixed results; while all three kickoffs resulted in touchbacks from four attempts totaling up to an impressive distance covered by kicks at around seven football fields (264 yards), field goal attempts were less successful with both tries from beyond fifty yards missing their mark.

Defensively speaking, although no sacks were recorded by the Texans' defense against their opponents' quarterback throughout this encounter at NRG Stadium on Sunday afternoon – they did manage five tackles for loss amounting twelve negative yardage against them along with six defended passes and one interception that was returned fourteen yardage downfield.

As we look ahead after this tough defeat where possession time was slightly over half hour (26:06), attention turns towards preparing for next challenge when Denver Broncos visit NRG Stadium on December third at one o'clock PM local time (Central Time).
