The Texans' offense was on full display, amassing a total of 368 yards with an average gain of 6 yards per play. Their rushing attack proved particularly effective, contributing significantly to their yardage with 192 rushing yards. Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce were standout performers in this regard. Mixon rushed for 102 yards with an impressive average of nearly 8 yards per carry and scored one touchdown. On special teams, Ka'imi Fairbairn contributed two field goals from three attempts, including a long kick from 46 yards out.


Defensive Highlights


The defense played a pivotal role in securing this victory for Houston by applying constant pressure on New England's offense throughout the game. Will Anderson Jr.'s exceptional performance included three sacks and four tackles for loss among his eight combined tackles which disrupted many plays before they could develop.

Calen Bullock made significant contributions in pass defense by intercepting one pass which he returned for twenty-eight yards while Eric Murray also secured an interception that halted potential scoring drives by New England.
