Clash at M&T Bank Stadium: Indianapolis Colts Take On Baltimore Ravens

As the Indianapolis Colts gear up to face the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium, fans are buzzing with anticipation. The Colts, coming off a decisive 31-20 victory over the Texans on September 17th, are looking to carry that momentum into their upcoming game.

The Colts' offense was firing on all cylinders in Houston, with an impressive 75 percent completion rate from their passing game and an average of nearly 6 yards per play overall. Their rushing attack was equally effective, averaging over 5 yards per carry and contributing three touchdowns to the scoreboard. This balanced offensive onslaught is something the Ravens' defense will need to be prepared for.

Defensively, the Colts have shown they can be disruptors in the backfield. With six sacks against Houston and a total of ten tackles for loss, they've proven their ability to penetrate offensive lines and stifle opponents' ground games. The defense also forced one fumble and recovered it themselves – signs of an opportunistic squad that could give Baltimore's offense some trouble.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for Indianapolis this season. In their opening game against Jacksonville Jaguars on September 10th at Lucas Oil Stadium, they fell short with a score of 21-31. Despite forcing three fumbles and recording two sacks in that contest, turnovers were costly as they gave up two lost fumbles themselves.

Looking ahead to Baltimore presents its own set of challenges; however, if recent performances are any indication – particularly their strong showing in Philadelphia during preseason where they held Eagles to just 13 points – there's reason for optimism among Colts fans.

The key matchup will likely be between Indianapolis's defensive line and Baltimore's offensive protectors. If Indy can replicate its pressure from previous games and contain the run early on while maintaining offensive efficiency through both air and ground attacks as seen against Houston – there’s potential for another win on foreign turf.

Colts supporters should mark their calendars for September 24th when these two teams clash at M&T Bank Stadium at noon local time (5 PM GMT). Fans can catch all the action live on CBS or follow along through various sports networks covering NFL games this season.
