Can the Jaguars Claw Back at EverBank Stadium Against the Panthers?

As the Jacksonville Jaguars prepare to host the Carolina Panthers at EverBank Stadium, fans are eager to see if their team can continue their recent defensive dominance. The Jaguars' last outing was a shutout victory, with a commanding 26-0 win that showcased their ability to control both sides of the ball.

Looking back at previous performances, it's clear that Jacksonville has had its ups and downs. In Week 16 against Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they struggled offensively, managing only 12 points against Tampa Bay's 30. Their defense allowed too many yards and couldn't contain Tampa Bay's offense.

However, in Week 15 against Baltimore Ravens at home, despite a low-scoring affair from Jacksonville with only seven points on board, their defense showed signs of resilience with three sacks and an interception. This defensive effort wasn't enough for a win but indicated potential for future games.

In contrast to these losses was their high-scoring game in Week 14 against Cleveland Browns where they put up 27 points but narrowly lost by four points. Despite turnovers being an issue in this game as well as others throughout the season, there were positives including red zone efficiency where they scored on every opportunity presented.

The trends suggest that while Jacksonville has shown capability on offense when it clicks together – particularly in red zone situations – consistency is key for them moving forward. Defensively speaking though there seems to be steady improvement which could prove vital against Carolina Panthers who will be looking to penetrate this growing defensive wall.

Fans should expect a battle of defenses where turnovers could play a pivotal role in determining the outcome of this matchup. With home advantage and recent form considered; will Jacksonville capitalize or falter under pressure?

The game is scheduled for December 31st at EverBank Stadium and will be broadcasted live on CBS network starting from 6:00 PM local time (UTC). Fans can look forward to seeing whether Jacksonville can close out their year with another strong performance before heading into what promises to be an exciting new year ahead.
