EverBank Stadium Showdown: Jacksonville Jaguars Dominate Tennessee Titans

The Jacksonville Jaguars, with a 7-3 record, hosted the Tennessee Titans, who came in with a 3-7 record. In a display of offensive efficiency and defensive control, the Jaguars secured a convincing victory over the Titans with a final score of 34-14.

At EverBank Stadium, the home crowd of 67,175 witnessed the Jacksonville Jaguars' offense amass an impressive total of 389 yards. The passing game was particularly effective; quarterback play resulted in a completion rate of 75 percent for 262 yards and two touchdowns. The longest pass completed stretched for 34 yards and contributed to an average gain per play of approximately six yards across all plays.


The ground game also played its part in the victory as the Jaguars rushed for 128 yards on 36 attempts. Two rushing touchdowns were recorded, one being an impressive nine-yard dash into the end zone. The team's red zone efficiency was notable as well; they converted three out of five opportunities into scores.


Special teams contributed to this all-around team performance by successfully making both field goal attempts with one being from as far out as thirty yards. Additionally, kickoffs totaled at an impressive distance of 446 yards which included three touchbacks.


Defensively, the Jaguars were just as dominant. They forced two turnovers without giving up any themselves and recovered one fumble on special teams play which demonstrated their alertness on all fronts. The defense also sacked Tennessee's quarterback twice for a loss totaling fifteen yards while hitting him five times throughout the game.


Looking ahead to their next challenge, fans can mark their calendars for November 26 when the Jacksonville Jaguars will face off against Houston Texans at NRG Stadium in Houston at noon local time (1 PM Eastern Time). This matchup will be broadcasted live on CBS where fans can tune in to support their team from afar or join them on what promises to be another exciting NFL Sunday showdown.
