Jaguars Roar at EverBank Stadium, Tame the Colts in Week 6 Showdown

In a commanding performance at EverBank Stadium, the Jacksonville Jaguars improved their season record to 4-2 after defeating the Indianapolis Colts with a score of 37-20. The Jaguars' offense and defense were both on point, contributing to a game that solidified their position as strong contenders this season. The Colts now stand at 3-3 after this loss.

The Jacksonville Jaguars showcased an impressive defensive effort with three sacks totaling 19 yards lost for the Colts and eight quarterback hits. They also forced three turnovers through interceptions and added another by recovering a fumble while successfully defending nine passes. The defense was relentless, forcing three instances of three-and-outs against the opposition.


On special teams, the Jaguars excelled in punting with four attempts for an average of 51 yards per punt and one landing inside the 20-yard line. Their kickoff team was equally effective, driving seven out of eight kickoffs for touchbacks.


Offensively, Jacksonville's passing game was efficient; completing two touchdown passes with an overall completion percentage of approximately 67 percent from thirty attempts. The longest pass completed went for 29 yards which also resulted in a touchdown. On the ground, they rushed for two touchdowns and achieved seven first downs from twenty-nine rushing attempts despite losing yardage seven times.


The receiving corps managed to gain an average of nine yards per reception over twenty completions while scoring two touchdowns; one being a notable play that covered twenty-nine yards into the end zone.


Jacksonville's field goal unit had a perfect day as well; converting all three attempted field goals including one from beyond fifty yards out. Their red zone efficiency stood at approximately 67 percent success rate while they converted every single fourth-down attempt they made during this matchup.
