Second Quarter

In this quarter, Jacksonville's defense showed moments of promise but struggled to contain Pittsburgh's offensive surge. Despite recording two sacks and forcing one fumble, they couldn't capitalize on these opportunities to shift momentum in their favor. Danny Striggow was notable for his defensive efforts with a sack and forced fumble.

Third Quarter

The Jags' passing game was led by Trevor Lawrence who completed 6 out of 7 passes for 43 yards, achieving an impressive completion rate of 86 percent. However, despite his accuracy, he couldn't find the end zone during his time on the field. Nick Mullens contributed with a touchdown pass to Trenton Irwin who made four receptions totaling 48 yards.

Fourth Quarter

Jacksonville's rushing attack was spearheaded by Bhayshul Tuten and Tank Bigsby, each contributing significantly with Tuten scoring a rushing touchdown from an eight-yard run. Yet again, penalties plagued their progress as they accumulated eight penalties costing them crucial yardage throughout the match.

Post-game Analysis

Reflecting on what went wrong for Jacksonville Jaguars reveals that while individual performances were commendable—such as Cam Little’s perfect field goal record including a remarkable longest kick of 70 yards—the team struggled collectively against Pittsburgh’s aerial assault which proved decisive in securing victory for Steel Curtain.

Looking ahead to their next challenge against New Orleans Saints scheduled on August 17th at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans; fans can catch all action live via NFL Network starting from 1:00 PM EDT.
