At GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium, the Chiefs showcased a solid performance on both sides of the ball. The offense accumulated 314 total yards, with 259 coming through the air and 63 on the ground. The passing game was efficient, completing 23 out of 37 attempts which translated into two touchdowns and an impressive passer rating of over 100. On-target throws contributed to this success rate, as well as managing six red zone attempts and converting three into scores.

The rushing attack may not have been explosive—averaging just over two yards per carry—but it was effective enough to add another touchdown to the scoreboard. The offensive line held strong throughout the game, limiting losses in rushing yardage to just one yard.

Defensively, the Chiefs were relentless in pressuring their opponents. They recorded three sacks for a loss of twenty yards and six quarterback hits that disrupted Washington's offensive flow. Additionally, they defended eight passes and secured an interception that was returned for twenty-two yards.

Special teams also played a pivotal role in this matchup. Punt units performed admirably; four punts averaged forty-six yards each with three landing inside the twenty-yard line ensuring favorable field position for Kansas City's defense.

Penalties were minimal but impactful; five penalties cost them fifty yards yet resulted in two first downs for Kansas City's offense which helped sustain drives leading to points on board.

As fans look ahead, they can mark their calendars for when Kansas City will face off against Green Bay Packers at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on August 26th. This encounter is scheduled for an evening kickoff and will be broadcasted live on NFL Network via satellite channel number two hundred twelve—a perfect opportunity for fans who want to catch all action from comfort of their homes or favorite local venues.
