The Raiders' performance on September 10 against the Broncos was a testament to their resilience. Despite being outplayed in terms of possession time and total yards, they managed a one-point win with a final score of 17-16. This victory was largely due to their efficient red zone offense and an impressive passing completion rate of 77 percent that resulted in two touchdowns. Moreover, with no timeouts used and two challenges remaining, it showed strategic restraint and confidence in on-field decisions.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for the Raiders. The rushing game struggled with an average of only two yards per carry despite making five first downs. Penalties were also a concern as they racked up 97 penalty yards over ten infractions which could have easily tipped the scales against them if not for their solid defense that recorded two sacks and forced three-and-outs.

In contrast, when looking at their preseason game on August 27 against Dallas Cowboys where they lost with a score of 16-31, there were clear areas needing improvement. The rushing attack was more effective averaging over five yards per carry but failed to convert in red zone situations resulting in zero touchdowns from two attempts.

The most promising display came during their August 20 preseason match against Los Angeles Rams where they dominated with a score of 34-17. Their offensive unit amassed an impressive total yardage count of 440 while maintaining possession for nearly half an hour (31:39). Their defense also stepped up by forcing three turnovers including an interception return touchdown which contributed significantly to this comprehensive win.

Looking ahead at the matchup with Buffalo Bills who will have home advantage; it is crucial that Las Vegas Raiders maintain discipline regarding penalties while continuing to capitalize on red zone opportunities as shown in past performances. Additionally, improving third-down efficiency which stood at around fifty-three percent during their best preseason showing will be key for sustaining drives and keeping pressure off their defense.

Raiders fans should expect another close contest but can take solace from knowing that even under pressure this team has found ways to eke out victories – something that could prove vital come Sunday afternoon's showdown.

Fans won't want to miss what could be one of the season's most exciting games as it unfolds live on CBS from Highmark Stadium located in Orchard Park, New York State Zip Code:14127 USA.
