As the Las Vegas Raiders prepare to host the Dallas Cowboys at Allegiant Stadium, fans are bracing for an electrifying encounter. The upcoming game, scheduled for August 17, 2024, promises to be a spectacle of strategy and skill as both teams vie for supremacy.


The Raiders' recent performance against the Minnesota Vikings showcased their resilience and tactical prowess. Despite a narrow loss with a scoreline of 23-24, the Raiders demonstrated their ability to compete at the highest level. Their defense was particularly noteworthy, managing to force four three-and-outs and securing an interception that highlighted their defensive capabilities.

On offense, the Raiders showed versatility in their play-calling. Quarterback Gardner Minshew II delivered an impressive performance with 117 passing yards and a touchdown pass that contributed significantly to the team's total yardage of 308. The rushing attack was equally effective, accumulating 120 yards on the ground which underscored their balanced offensive approach.


Special teams also played a crucial role in keeping the game competitive. Kicker Daniel Carlson was perfect on field goals, contributing nine points through his accuracy from various distances including a long of 56 yards.

However, penalties were an area of concern as they accumulated six infractions costing them valuable yardage. This is something they will need to address before facing off against Dallas Cowboys.


Allegiant Stadium will provide an electric atmosphere conducive for home advantage but maintaining discipline on both sides of the ball will be paramount for victory.
