Los Angeles Rams to Face Denver Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High

As the Los Angeles Rams prepare to visit Empower Field at Mile High for their next NFL showdown against the Denver Broncos, fans are eager to see how their team will perform. The Rams have had a challenging preseason, with recent games indicating areas that need improvement before they hit the regular season.

In their last outing, the Rams were shut out by the Broncos with a score of 41-0, a game that highlighted significant struggles on both sides of the ball. Offensively, they failed to put points on the board and defensively allowed 41 points. This performance followed another defeat where they scored 17 points against both Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers but conceded 34 points in each game.

The statistics from these past games show that while there are sparks of potential within the team—such as an average gain of over four yards per play and red zone efficiency reaching as high as 66 percent—the consistency isn't there yet. The defense has shown some resilience with multiple sacks and forced three-and-outs but needs to translate those moments into sustained pressure throughout all four quarters.

Special teams have been a mixed bag; while punting averages have been strong (over fifty yards on average), penalties have hindered progress with over one hundred penalty yards in one game alone. Turnovers also remain an area for attention; although interceptions were made, maintaining possession will be crucial moving forward.

The upcoming match presents an opportunity for redemption and fine-tuning before regular-season play begins. Fans can expect focused efforts from coaches and players alike to address these issues head-on.

The Los Angeles Rams will take on this challenge at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver on August 27th at 1:00 AM UTC. Dedicated fans can catch all the action live on NFL Network (satellite channel 212).
