Rams Shut Out at Empower Field as Broncos Dominate in Week 3

The Los Angeles Rams faced a challenging game at Empower Field at Mile High against the Denver Broncos, culminating in a score of 41-0. The Rams' season record now stands at an unenviable 0-3, while the Broncos improved to an impressive 3-0.

The Los Angeles Rams struggled to find their rhythm throughout the game. The offense was unable to put points on the board, with their passing game particularly suffering. The quarterback's performance was underwhelming, completing only 14 out of 27 attempts for a total of 102 yards and throwing two interceptions. This resulted in a poor passer rating of just over 30. Additionally, the team's rushing efforts were stymied; despite running the ball 18 times, they managed only an average of nearly four yards per carry for a total of just over seventy yards.

On special teams, the punting unit saw plenty of action with six attempts totaling three hundred twenty-one yards and managing to place three inside the twenty-yard line. However, this did not translate into advantageous field position due to two touchbacks and nineteen return yards allowed by their coverage team.

Defensively, there were some positive takeaways for the Rams despite being on the wrong end of a lopsided scoreline. They recorded two sacks and seven quarterback hits while also forcing one fumble during play but failed to secure any interceptions or recoveries that could have shifted momentum.

The Denver Broncos capitalized on every opportunity presented by their opponents' missteps. Their defense held strong throughout all four quarters, preventing any scoring from taking place and limiting first downs conceded through penalties to just three instances.
