Los Angeles Rams Edge Out San Francisco 49ers in Defensive Showdown

The Los Angeles Rams improved their season record to 8-6 after a hard-fought victory over the San Francisco 49ers, who now sit at 6-8. The final score of the game was a modest 12-6, reflecting the defensive battle that took place.

Key Performances on the Field


The Rams' defense was relentless throughout the game, racking up three sacks and five tackles for loss while also securing an interception by Darious Williams. Christian Rozeboom led the defensive effort with nine combined tackles and one sack, contributing significantly to stifling the 49ers' offense. Kobie Turner also made his presence felt with two sacks and two tackles for loss, adding pressure that kept the opposing quarterback uncomfortable in crucial moments.


On special teams, Ethan Evans had an outstanding performance as a punter for Los Angeles, with six attempts totaling 325 yards and placing two inside the 20-yard line. His longest punt of the night went for an impressive 68 yards.

Offensively, Kyren Williams spearheaded Los Angeles's ground game with 108 rushing yards on 29 carries. Although no touchdowns were scored by either team, Joshua Karty was perfect on field goal attempts for Los Angeles, converting all four tries including a long of 48 yards which contributed crucial points to secure their win.


Puka Nacua emerged as a key receiver for Los Angeles with seven receptions totaling an impressive 97 yards. His efforts helped move chains and maintain possession in critical moments of this tightly contested match-up.
