Rams' Ground Game and Defense Shine

The Los Angeles Rams showcased a balanced attack against the Jets, with standout performances from key players. Running back Kyren Williams led the charge on the ground, amassing 122 rushing yards on 23 attempts and scoring one touchdown. His performance was instrumental in controlling the clock and keeping the Jets' defense on their heels.

On defense, Kam Curl made his presence felt by recording one sack for a loss of ten yards and forcing a fumble, highlighting a day where the Rams' defense stifled their opponents effectively. The team's defensive unit forced three fourth-down stops and recovered two fumbles, turning potential scoring drives into missed opportunities for New York.

Quarterback Matthew Stafford managed an efficient game through air despite throwing an interception. He completed 14 out of his 19 pass attempts for 110 yards and threw for one touchdown. His connection with wide receiver Puka Nacua was particularly effective; Nacua caught eight passes for 56 yards.

Special Teams Contributions

Ethan Evans played a crucial role in field positioning with his punting efforts that included two punts inside the New York's twenty-yard line totaling seventy-nine net yards. Joshua Karty was perfect on field goals, converting both attempts including a long of forty-five yards which contributed significantly to extending Los Angeles's lead during critical moments of play.

Looking Ahead
