First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Miami Dolphins establishing an early lead. Tua Tagovailoa's precision passing was evident as he connected with Theo Wease Jr. for a remarkable 63-yard touchdown pass, marking one of his two touchdowns in the game. The Fins' defense also made its presence felt early on, forcing two three-and-outs from the Bucs.

Second Quarter

In the second quarter, Tampa Bay responded with a touchdown pass from Baker Mayfield to Mike Evans, leveling the score temporarily. However, Miami's kicker Jason Sanders successfully converted two field goals from distances of 29 and 39 yards respectively, ensuring that the Fins maintained their lead going into halftime.

Third Quarter

The third quarter was characterized by defensive prowess on both sides. Bradley Chubb stood out for Miami with his relentless pressure on Mayfield, recording two sacks and forcing a fumble that was recovered by Quinton Bell. Meanwhile, Ashtyn Davis showcased his defensive skills by intercepting Mayfield's pass intended for Chris Godwin.

Fourth Quarter

As tensions rose in the fourth quarter, Tampa Bay managed to close in on Miami’s lead through another touchdown drive led by Mayfield. However, it was Jack Jones’ crucial tackle-for-loss play that halted Tampa’s momentum during their final drive attempt to tie or win the game.
