In an intense National Football League matchup, the Minnesota Vikings displayed a robust offensive performance despite falling short to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Vikings' passing game was particularly effective; their quarterback threw for four touchdowns and completed 31 out of 44 pass attempts, achieving an impressive passer rating of approximately 126. The longest touchdown pass was a notable highlight, covering a distance of 62 yards.

The Minnesota offense accumulated a total yardage of 374 with an average gain per play standing at nearly seven yards. Despite this offensive surge, turnovers proved costly for the team as they fumbled four times and lost possession on each occasion. These turnovers were detrimental to maintaining momentum throughout the game.

On defense, the Vikings managed to sack the opposing quarterback four times for a loss of about 22 yards and recorded one interception. However, they struggled to contain their opponents' scoring drives as evidenced by allowing three successful red zone attempts out of three by the Eagles.

Special teams also played their part; while no field goals were attempted by Minnesota during this encounter, all four extra point kicks were successfully made after touchdowns. In addition to that effort on special teams was punting which saw them average over fifty-one net yards per punt and place two punts inside their opponent's twenty-yard line.
