Vikings' Defensive and Offensive Highlights


The Vikings' defense was relentless throughout the game, recording six sacks and forcing two turnovers. Blake Cashman stood out on defense with five tackles, eight assists, one sack for six yards lost by the opposing team, and three passes defended. Joshua Metellus made significant contributions as well by securing an interception that he returned for twelve yards and defending another pass. On offense, quarterback Sam Darnold showcased his skill set by throwing for 268 yards with a completion rate of sixty-five percent and connecting on two touchdown passes. His longest touchdown pass was an impressive ninety-seven-yard throw.

Will Reichard played an essential role in securing the victory for the Vikings through his perfect field goal performance. He successfully converted all three attempts with his longest being thirty-nine yards contributing nine points to the final score.
