Defensive Dominance


The Vikings' defense was particularly impressive, racking up three sacks and eight tackles for loss while forcing three turnovers. Camryn Bynum and Byron Murphy Jr. each intercepted a pass, contributing significantly to halting the Jaguars' offensive efforts. Blake Cashman and Ivan Pace Jr., each with one sack and two tackles for loss, were relentless in pressuring the quarterback and disrupting plays behind the line of scrimmage.


Special Teams Shine


John Parker Romo played an essential role in securing the win for Minnesota by successfully converting all four field goal attempts, including a long of 45 yards. His performance accounted for most of Minnesota's points and highlighted how crucial special teams can be in tightly contested matchups.

Offensive Efforts


On offense, Sam Darnold managed to throw for 241 yards despite facing constant pressure from Jacksonville's defense that resulted in three interceptions. Aaron Jones led the rushing attack with 88 yards on 17 carries, showcasing his ability to find gaps even against stiff opposition. T.J. Hockenson emerged as Darnold's favorite target catching eight passes for 72 yards.
