First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both teams testing each other's defenses. The Vikes struggled to find their rhythm offensively, with quarterback Max Brosmer completing only 15 out of his 23 attempts for a total of 161 yards. Despite this effort, he managed to connect with tight end Bryson Nesbit for a touchdown pass that spanned 21 yards, marking one of the few highlights for Minnesota's offense.

Second Quarter

As play continued into the second quarter, it was evident that Tennessee's defense was formidable. The Two-Tone Blue applied pressure consistently on Brett Rypien, who completed just seven passes out of fourteen attempts and threw an interception. On defense, Austin Keys stood out for Minnesota with four tackles and one sack but couldn't prevent Tennessee from gaining momentum.

Third Quarter

In this period, Ryan Wright showcased his punting prowess by pinning two punts inside Tennessee's 20-yard line. However, penalties plagued Minnesota’s efforts as they accumulated six penalties totaling fifty yards throughout the game. Meanwhile, Levi Drake Rodriguez made an impact defensively with one sack and two quarterback hits.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw Will Reichard attempting to close the gap through field goals; however, he only converted two out of four attempts despite hitting from distances as far as fifty-eight yards. The Skol Vikings’ rushing attack was led by Xazavian Valladay who gained thirty-nine yards on eight carries but failed to reach pay dirt.

Despite these efforts from individual players like Mekhi Blackmon contributing three tackles defensively and Jeshaun Jones catching all four targets thrown his way for forty-one receiving yards – it wasn't enough against a well-prepared Titan squad that capitalized on every opportunity presented during this matchup.
