The New York Jets faced off against the Dallas Cowboys at MetLife Stadium, resulting in a 37-22 defeat. The loss extended the Jets' record to 0-5, while the Cowboys improved to 2-2-1. Despite a spirited effort from Gang Green, they were unable to secure their first victory of the season.

First Quarter

The opening quarter saw both teams testing each other's defenses. The Jets' quarterback Justin Fields showcased his passing skills with a completion rate of 70 percent, throwing for 283 yards and two touchdowns throughout the game. However, an early fumble by Breece Hall gave America's Team an opportunity they capitalized on.

Second Quarter

In this period, Garrett Wilson emerged as a key player for Gang Green with six receptions totaling 71 yards and one touchdown. His longest catch was for 25 yards, demonstrating his ability to stretch the field. Despite these efforts, penalties plagued the Jets as they accumulated ten infractions costing them crucial yardage.

Third Quarter

As play resumed after halftime, Braiden McGregor made his presence felt on defense with one sack and three combined tackles. Yet again, turnovers proved costly for Gang Green when another possession slipped away due to pressure from Dallas's defensive line which recorded five sacks against Fields during this matchup.

Fourth Quarter

In what became an uphill battle towards closing time at East Rutherford’s iconic venue; Nick Folk managed two successful field goals contributing six points overall but it wasn't enough against Dallas’ relentless offense led by Dak Prescott who orchestrated multiple scoring drives sealing their victory over New York’s resilient squadron.
