Steelers Narrowly Outscored at Acrisure Stadium by Bengals in High-Scoring Affair

In a closely contested game at Acrisure Stadium, the Pittsburgh Steelers faced off against the Cincinnati Bengals, with the final scoreboard reading 37-30 in favor of the visitors. The Steelers' season record now stands at 9-8, while the Bengals improved to 12-4. Despite a valiant effort from the home team, they fell short against their opponents in Week 11 of regular-season play.

The Pittsburgh Steelers showcased a robust offensive performance with a total yardage of 351. Their rushing game was particularly effective, amassing 102 yards across 24 attempts and scoring two touchdowns. One rush resulted in an impressive longest touchdown run of 19 yards. The passing game also contributed significantly with one touchdown and a completion percentage rounded to approximately 60 percent from 42 attempts.


Defensively, the Steelers managed to sack the opposing quarterback twice for a loss of nine yards and intercepted two passes which they returned for three yards. They forced two three-and-outs and defended eight passes throughout the contest but were unable to recover any fumbles or stop any fourth-down attempts.


Special teams played their part as well; field goal kickers were perfect on the day, making all three attempted field goals with their longest being from 42 yards out. In addition to this flawless kicking display, kick return units racked up an impressive total return yardage of approximately 154 on seven returns.


The Bengals proved formidable opponents; their offense scored five touchdowns and successfully converted all red zone opportunities into points during this matchup. Their defense applied pressure consistently with seven quarterback hits and four sacks totaling nine lost yards for Pittsburgh.


Looking ahead after this hard-fought battle at home, fans can catch their next glimpse of action when The Pittsburgh Steelers travel to face off against Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium on November 28th at around an equivalent time of around eight fifteen PM Eastern Time (ET).
