Can the Pittsburgh Steelers' Precision Outmaneuver the Baltimore Ravens?

In a closely contested Week 11 game at Acrisure Stadium, the Pittsburgh Steelers edged out a victory over the Baltimore Ravens with a final score of 18-16. This win improved the Steelers' season record to 8-2, while the Ravens fell to 7-4. Despite both teams showcasing strong defensive efforts, it was Pittsburgh's ability to capitalize on key moments that ultimately secured their win.

Game Highlights


The game was characterized by its defensive prowess on both sides, with the Steelers managing to hold off a late surge by the Ravens. T.J. Watt and Dean Lowry each recorded a sack, contributing to Pittsburgh's total of two sacks and six quarterback hits throughout the game. Payton Wilson made his presence felt by securing an interception, one of two turnovers forced by Pittsburgh's defense which also recovered two fumbles thanks to efforts from Nick Herbig and Patrick Queen.


On special teams, Chris Boswell was perfect on the day, converting all six field goal attempts with his longest being from 57 yards out. His performance accounted for all of Pittsburgh's points and proved crucial in their narrow victory.


Offensive Efforts


Offensively, Najee Harris led the rushing attack for Pittsburgh with 63 yards on 18 carries. Jaylen Warren also contributed significantly with 41 rushing yards. Through the air, Russell Wilson completed 23 out of 36 pass attempts for a total of 205 yards but was intercepted once without throwing any touchdowns.


George Pickens emerged as Wilson’s favorite target catching eight passes for an impressive total of 89 receiving yards. Darnell Washington also made notable contributions in passing plays with two receptions totaling up to 42 yards.
