Steelers' Efforts Fall Short Against Browns in Week 12 Showdown

The Pittsburgh Steelers, now with an 8-3 record, faced a challenging game against the Cleveland Browns, who improved to a 3-8 standing after securing a 24-19 victory. Despite the loss, the game was filled with notable performances and key moments that highlighted both teams' efforts on the field.

Steelers' Defensive Highlights


The Steelers' defense showcased their skills throughout the game. Nick Herbig made an impactful presence by recording one sack and contributing to two tackles and one forced fumble. Donte Jackson also stood out by intercepting a pass and returning it for two yards, alongside making three tackles and defending one pass. DeShon Elliott added to the defensive effort with four tackles, two assists, one forced fumble, and recovering another fumble which demonstrated his all-around playmaking ability.


Offensive Efforts


On offense, quarterback Russell Wilson led with precision passing for 270 yards at a completion rate of 75 percent which included throwing for one touchdown. His longest completion was a significant 46-yard throw that contributed to keeping drives alive. Jaylen Warren's performance on the ground was notable as well; he rushed for 45 yards across eleven attempts and scored one touchdown. Calvin Austin III emerged as a key receiver by catching three passes for 78 yards including an impressive longest catch of 46 yards that resulted in scoring a touchdown.
