Seattle Seahawks Overwhelmed at M&T Bank Stadium by Baltimore Ravens

In a challenging Week 9 matchup, the Seattle Seahawks faced a tough defeat at M&T Bank Stadium against the Baltimore Ravens. The Seahawks' record now stands at 5-3, while the Ravens improved to 7-2. The final score read 37-3 in favor of the home team.

The Seattle offense struggled to gain traction throughout the game, managing only 151 total yards compared to Baltimore's dominant performance. The Seahawks' passing game was particularly stifled, with only 157 yards through the air and a mere completion percentage of about 46 percent. Quarterback pressures resulted in four sacks and an interception, contributing to a low passer rating of around 49.

On the ground, things didn't fare much better for Seattle as they accumulated just 28 rushing yards on 15 attempts—an average of less than two yards per carry. Their inability to establish a running game hindered their offensive versatility and kept them from sustaining drives.

Defensively, there were some notable efforts from the Seahawks despite being on the field for over half of the game due to their offense's struggles. They forced two fumbles and recovered both but were unable to turn those opportunities into points. Additionally, they managed one sack and two passes defended while forcing one three-and-out.

Special teams provided one bright spot with their punting unit averaging nearly 46 yards across seven attempts and placing three inside Baltimore's twenty-yard line. However, this was overshadowed by an overall lackluster team performance that saw them commit five penalties for almost thirty penalty yards.

Looking ahead after this tough outing, fans can find solace in knowing that their next opportunity for redemption is not far off. The Seattle Seahawks will host their upcoming game against Washington Commanders at Lumen Field in Seattle on November 12th at approximately 1:25 PM local time (4:25 PM ET). This event will be broadcasted live on FOX network where fans can tune in with high hopes as their team looks to bounce back from this setback.
